Router FAST 5464

The router provided with the recent fibre 150 upgrade, product version Sagemcom  FAST 5464-2. T4/AV6/C3 there is a problem with the Wi-Fi output. Much of my existing equipment cannot see the Wi-Fi out of this router, that includes 4G Mobile phones. older printers, laptops and tablets.

I have found that this dual band router, BAND 1 (2.4Ghz) is DISABLED

                                                       BAND 2 (5.0Ghz) is ENABLED  and it always defaults to this when reset. It won' accept both bands running, what can I do so that 4G phones and older equipment can see the Wi-Fi out of this router. Thank you

Morning,

 

I'm sorry to hear this. Would you like us to send a replacement router for testing purposes to rule this out? We would also send a router returns bag so that one of the routers can be returned.

Wait for staff to reach your thread, after the weekend, and they'll be able to switch off "wi-fi optimisation", @spikey3

 

 

Ensure that you have completed your community forum profile details for them to identify your account.
