I have a router that has a red light showing, it should be white. I have internet connection, but there is a fault with the router.  

Have called and been sent the repeated message which dies not address it. 

Please can you sort it.

Just kicking the tyres here but could it be this problem that is causing it -

There is a current faultly affecting some customers with Digital Voice (VoIP). The landlines are showing as not registered and in place of dial tone on the phone is a continuous tone like NU.

 

It is also causing a weird, quick light flashing between amber & white on the Sagemcom Wi-Fi Hub 2. When logged into the router, it shows the phone as not being registered.

 

On a Grandstream DVA, I would expect that the lights on it show that the phone is not registered either.

Please note that as soon as you have a fault the first thing we need to do is run checks on your issue depending on whether its physically damaged or non-physical damage. As your services are working fine, I'm unable to run checks on this. Please monitor and if it gives problems, get in touch right away. Thanks

Thank you for your assistance but I will be taking further action. My previous 18 months contract was a nightmare and now once again there is an issue. I will take this up with the retention team.

I understand, please note that as your services are working fine you shouldn't have to worry about it. If it affects your services, you can get in touch and will have it looked into for you as soon as possible. This might be an issue connected with VoIP customers, really sorry about this and the inconvenience it's caused you. Thanks😇

Yes. Why is the router showing red when the booklet informs me that there is a fault with the router.

Please send out a new Super Router and I will return the faulty one.

I have done a speed test.

152 download 

25 upload.

For your information I have not done a reset yet. Only unplugged for 10 seconds.

I have done that. The white light comes on but after approximately 30 seconds to a minute it then turns red.

You didn't have to press the reset button but just unplug and wait for 10 seconds and the reset was going to happen automatically. Thanks

Thank you, the red light typically indicates that there is a problem. Please try these few steps to help resolve the issue:

 

-Unplug the router from the power source, wait for about 10 seconds, and then plug it back in. This can sometimes reset any temporary issues.

- Ensure that all cables are securely connected to the router and that there are no visible damages.

- If the red light persists, you may need to perform a factory reset. This will restore the router to its original settings.
