Wondered why the small print on the upgrade offers still has a percentage increase?

 

"Full Fibre 150

 

Subject to local availability. Latest offer for the entire minimum term of your contract (££29.95 a month*, 18 month minimum term contract.). The monthly price of Full Fibre 150 will rise in April each year by the rate of inflation plus 3.7%, from 2023."

 

I thought all increases had to now be in £.p ?

Looks like they have now updated the text on Fibre150 and Fibre250 (also removing the Ultrafast tag) on the personal upgrades screen,  however, still  not updated the original issue with Full Fibre 150 at £29.99 a month. 
There again, if you visit the legal pages for the terms and conditions  Full Fibre £150 is £4.99 cheaper starting at £25. Looks like some lessons in reviewing and checking before publishing are needed. Does not set a very good impression.

I've sent information through, @gcotgreave  - so far they are still advertising these with "calculated value" etc....!

 

Makes one wonder if we get to fill in a suggested price, a bit like when you simply pay what you think something is worth, instead of a fixed ticket price. 😄

Thanks for the offer, I was just keeping abreast of what TT were offering. (Especially after the relaunch) . I have quite a few months left on my current TT contract.

No hadn't intended the same screen shot twice for 150Ultrafast. You've nicely spotted the second image should have been the 250 speed.

Monday would have been the 22nd Sept. I got a TT advert in my Android Google feed, and just thought I'd take a look at the latest offer. Read the small print and it showed the bits about %age increases. Hence the post.

Generally seems a stronger review process is needed. 

This also needs attention.

The main Talktalk website offers show a link to the more up to date system, @gcotgreave.

 

Thanks for mentioning that you are seeing the % increase details in the offers and upgrades. Someone has overlooked updating the generic wording.

 

Always check that sort of detail by phoning 03451 720088 or on Chat, where you are likely to get a better deal anyway, rather than through My Account  / emailed offers.
