Hi there stephen6pine. The future fibre department will be able to advise further regarding this. https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/FutureFibre/bd-p/FutureFibre

I contacted the full-fibre team last Friday and an Openreach appointment was made for the 13 May. I was expecting an email that has not arrived. Are you saying this appointment was not made? The call lasted nearly an hour, I do not want to ring again!

Thank you very much for doing so.

Looking into the notes on your account I can confirm that you will need to contact future fibre directly using the above number so that they would be able to look into this for you.

Alternatively you can use the below live chat link. Thanks

Done.

I telephoned last Friday and an Openreach engineer appointment was made. I was told to expect an email, but nearly a week later and I have not heard anything!

I contacted TalkTalk on 03451720074 last Friday, and after a long call an OpenReach appointment was made. But I was told I would get an email but none has arrived. How can I verify the status of the order without needing to ring?

I do need to move the ONT, because a big home renovation means its current location will be behind a kitchen cabinet soon. But you did make me realise the router and ONT do not need to be the same room 😀

Hi @stephen6pine

There might be another way, all depending on what you are trying to achieve. That is to buy a suitably long enough Cat 6 minimum Ethernet cable & run it from where the ONT is currently to wherever you want the router to be. I like to hide such a cable in some small white self-adhesive trunking.

Hi @stephen6pine probably the full fibre team, but your post has been escalated and you should hear tomorrow.

I don't work here and all my opinions are my own.
