 Hi everyone.

I hope someone can throw some light on why I keep getting this message when I click on a clickable button in my emails.

This site can’t be reached

pottersleisure2.acemlnb.com’s DNS address could not be found. Diagnosing the problem.

DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE

The above is the latest one recieved today but it's been happening for some time now. If anyone can throw any light on it, it would be appreciated. I'm an 81 year old so if you can help in laymans terms please. Thank you.

@fr8ys said "Click on this, then network controls and if Ad Bocking is blue, turn it off, exit the app and try again" .

And it worked.....Thank you for your help my clickable buttons now all work okay.

@Divsec Thank you also for your contribution. Problem now solved...

@Barrowman

Advanced security is on the home page of the Eero app.

Click on this, then network controls and if Ad Bocking is blue, turn it off, exit the app and try again.

To change DNS settings, open the app on your phone, click settings, the Network Settings, the DNS, then click Custom DNS and input the required settings you have decided to try.

Hi @Barrowman sorry none of the suggestions worked. I've just checked out the link you were trying and it doesn't look "right" in fact it might just be a link you don't want to follow!

The proper address for potters is https://www.pottersresorts.com/

Please let us know if any other links have similar issues, and how you get on.

Thank you for your replies @Divsec and @fr8ys

Yes I do have fibre and use the Eero router. I tried using the link provided by Divsec which I'm afraid provided no help - perhaps it's just me not understanding it!

I then tried to find 'turning off the advanced security function' relating to ad blocking on my Eero app but could not find any reference to it, trying another DNS didn't work as they were all blacked out.

Just to add that nothing has been changed on the Eero's from when it was supplied, apart from the updates that is, thinking about that I think the problem started about the time of the last update wether that has any relevance or not.

Hi @Barrowman amazingly the Talktalk explanation covers everything about changing DNS settings and gives good advice on how to do it and the possible implications.

Click on the link above and give it a try. I'm more than happy to help if it gets tricky for you, just come back on this thread and let us know how you are getting on.u8

Are you a full fibre customer and have an Eero router?

If so try turning off the advanced security function relating to ad blocking.

If not then my colleague @Divsec  recommends changing your DNS settings.

I've mentioned him here so he can guide you through this and mention any issues you may encounter.
