Hi,

I've just bought a Veho Cave HD outdoor security camera, which can be connected to my Moto 9 phone, via a Veho app.

When trying to connect it to my erro it just fails.

Are the two incompatable?

@John30444

Once you have connected the camera you can cancel the 5GHz pause in the eero app.

Hi John,

Just to confirm, the cameras keep intermittently keep dropping connection, is this right?

Thanks

Hi Michelle,

                    Ferguson helped me a lot.

However although his excellent suggestion works, it's only temporary and I need a permanent solution, as the security cameras and the 5kHz wifi need to work continuously and simultaneously.

I now realize that I bought the wrong type of camera (2.7kHz), so we live and learn, even at 80.

Many thanks,

                          John

I will move this to the Full Fibre section where it will get attention from the support team. The eero is just a router and should be able to connect to any wireless device. If your Veho camera is 2.4GHz only try temporarily turning off  the 5GHz channel :

Temporarily hide 5 GHz:

  • Log into the eero app using your eero account information.
  • Tap “Settings” at the bottom of the home screen.
  • Tap “Troubleshooting” towards the bottom of the settings screen.
  • Tap “My device won’t connect.”
  • Tap “Temporarily pause 5 GHz” to hide 5 GHz.
