the problem is that i need a landline for medical reasons but all the packages available in the upgrade section of myaccount are for dataonly was thinking of doing it over the phone but im not sure which number to phone
also what details will i need ie account number etc to do it over the phone?

Hi Nita,
No problem. Strictly speaking Voice over IP is used by Digital Voice to carry the voice signalling & conversations over an IP network. There are various protocol suites that fall under the VoIP umbrella, but I won't bore you with them.

Hi Keith,
Just looked at my contract. You are right, they do call it Digital Voice.
I'm so used to calling it VOIP on here.

Nita I don't mean to be picky, but the loyalty team will know VoIP as Digital Voice.

Unless you have some kind of medical device like an alarm that is actually connected to your phone. Then what you need is Voice Over IP.
When you phone the Loyalty Team you must insist that your New Broadband includes Voice Over IP (VOIP).
And you must also be able to keep your existing Land Line Phone Number.
