You won't point blank!!

TalkTalk will not give you the required details to setup a router even if it has VOIP built in.

You would need a device such as a Grandstream (don't waste your money buying one either) and if Talktalk gave you one, which I very much doubt, it is STILL locked to their routers. So either keep the present router and set the network up through that or port your number to another company but don't start me on that I am STILL waiting for the port to happen and my phone has stopped working with my work around. Plus the Hub 3 has just gone belly up. I am just about to post the screen shots of the logs.

EDIT:

My Hub 3 now working after doing a factory reset through the Maintenance screens. The button did not seem to totally clear the system. Hub 3 on 192.168.1.1, second router on 192.168.2.1. Wan port on Hub 3 to ONT, Lan port Hub 3 to second router Wan. DCHP left on on both routers, VOIP active on Hub3 as this satisfies TT systems. Wifi left on which ever router you feel is the better. Mine is on the second router as it seems more stable and gets better distance. Firewalls up on both routers. No need to touch anything there. Hub 3 is basically doing nothing more than the Voip and feeding internet to second router.

Ignore the logs as it will give lots of errors but this is as expected as it is seeing request on the second router coming through which are basically nothing to worry about. You can stop these at the second router but close the wrong ports and you will mess everything up. Latency and speed are unaffected.

Simple safe method. There are others but why complicated things.

Customers seem to have an issue setting up VoIP using a non TalkTalk router.

Staff here are unable at the moment to help with full fibre issues and even if they have access to the system would normally only provide help with TalkTalk equipment and not customers own.

The search in the link below may help you.

However if you wish help from TalkTalk you will need to phone and speak to the full fibre team, but as mentioned, they may be unable to help
