My internet Broadband signal comes through my TalkTalk phone line. When phones are switched to

digital how will this work? Will we still be able to connect to the internet?

Hi @Judith981 there is no date as to when it will be available, full fibre isn't yet available in your area, the good news is that TalkTalk work with a variety of FTTP suppliers meaning we have one of the largest footprints in the UK.

Keep checking the TalkTalk website regularly so you can order full fibre as soon as one of suppliers roll it out in your area, you can check on our availability checker

It's never advertised IN ADVANCE of availability, @Judith981.

You just need to keep checking from time to time via the postcode checker on Talktalk's main website.

Thank you. I live in north London. Do you know when we will be switched over?

Hello, @Judith981! Yes, you will remain connected. FTTP, or Fiber to the Premises, is a broadband technology that delivers a direct fiber optic connection from the internet service provider straight to your home. We will replace the master socket with a small device called an ONT, which functions similarly to the old one, meaning you will still need to connect your new router to it. If you enjoy our Voice Service, there's no need to worry; we also offer VoIP, a digital method for making phone calls that allows you to communicate with your loved ones over the internet.
