I recently got Full Fibre 150 plus VoIP installed. Everything is working fine with my Broadband and my telephone is now connected to my router to enable VoIP. Mobile users on networks such as O2 and Vodaphone have no issues phoning my landline. However my son and his wife use Three as their mobile service provider and when they call my landline they cannot seem to connect. The phone rings and when I answer the line cuts off. As I said it seems to be just those on the Three network that have an issue. I don't know whether this is a problem with my phone connection or Three's mobile network. Does anybody else have a similar problem? I phoned TalkTalk technical support and they wanted me to reset my router but I didn't want to go to the bother of this unless it was guaranteed to fix the problem, which the technical agent couldn't. I suspect this is a problem with Three but I'm not sure.

Hope I'm posting this ok but just an update on my Three mobile problem. TalkTalk are still investigating but I spoke to a very nice agent today, Emily, who suggested I try calling a Three mobile user to see if my connection problem related to outgoing as well as incoming calls. I should have thought to try this before but didn't. It is a problem solely to do with incoming calls as I was able to contact my daughter in law, a Three mobile user, no problem. I suspect the connection problem is to do with Three but I'll wait and see what TalkTalk find if they investigate further.

Hi there @Fraser07 the VOIP fault only commenced yesterday, and the engineers are working on fixing the issue, your issue transpired before the known outage, so I do suggest that you allow checks to be completed.

Just an update on this. I still have an issue with Three mobile users being unable to contact me on my VoIP landline but TalkTalk are still investigating. Apparently other TalkTalk users are experiencing the same issue but I am not aware of that is the case.

I suspect the issue is with Three but I'll see what TalkTalk comes up with first. If there's no issue with my VoIP line then I maybe get those members of my family who use Three to get in contact with them. Thanks for your response.

I am with Three, @Fraser07, but find coverage extremely poor where I live; sometimes patchy out there in the wild and sometimes 10x better than I get at home with them.
I can't even reach the 159 banking emergency number with them ....
I would point the finger of suspicion in that direction but don't expect a quick resolution.

Also, sorry, yes I can ring Three mobiles from my number.

It's my son, his wife and son-in-law who use Three. They can phone other people with a copper landline (like my previous landline technology) but I'm the only one they know who has a VoIP line as far as I'm aware.
When the phone rings and I answer it I know they are on the line but I can't hear them nor they can hear near. My daughter and grandson use Vodafone and O2 and have no issues.
I do wonder if it is a Three problem. Do they have there own mobile network coverage? I'm hoping TalkTalk can rule out my package as the issue in which case it must be a problem with Three. I'm really curious to understand to the cause.

Can those with the Three service call other landline numbers without problems, @Fraser07 ?
And can you ring their mobiles from your Talktalk phone number?

I was also receiving calls from Three users on my copper landline before I got VoIP. I wonder if it has something to do with Three's mobile area coverage. Hopefully someone can advise.

It might be worth having it checked in relation to the VOIP service.
I have ye olde copper Fast Broadband and I can ring my Talktalk landline number no bother from my Three mobile.

I haven't contacted Three. Not my mobile provider. I use 02. Wife and daughter use Vodafone. No problem with receiving calls from these networks. I just wondered if anybody else had encountered this issue

Hi @Fraser07 what do three suggest?
