Hi, I have an intermittent fault with my landline in that incoming calls seem fine at my end, but occasionally the caller reports there is a lot of noise coming through. I have reported this several times, and last June an engineer called to run some tests and changed the phone socket. This doesn't really seem to have resolved anything, and having run another line test today (as I did a couple of weeks ago) it is reporting there may be a fault, but it seemed nearly impossible to communicate with an actual human being when going through the online chat/help.
Can someone please look into it as I rely on receiving landline calls.

Hi Floydoid
Do you still need help with this?

Hi Floydoid
I'm so sorry to hear this.
The line test hasn't detected any faults - Line test is clear.
Does the fault appear to be weather related?
If you have tested with a different phone at the test socket and the fault is still present (with the router removed) then the next step will be an Openreach engineer visit to the property.
Thanks
Debbie
