I no longer use a landline and wondered if I could remove this service from my broadband package?

If you have basic Fast Broadband [slowest package, copper line] or Fibre35 or other fibre to the cabinet [copper from there to your home] the phone line can't be removed.

It's an integrated part of the delivery for your broadband, @Deano927.

You can only have a data only service with Full Fibre to the Premises  - different infrastructure, no longer using copper.

There is no extra charge for having the line - only for individual calls or the boost, if you added it.

So just don't plug in the phone.

Hi,
Removing the landline will not alter your package price unless you are paying for a boost, or maybe, if you have retained a copper line having moved to a FTTP contract.

You are in the staff's queue for them to check for you.
For a quicker reply can you please ensure you have your personal information up to date in your profile including your TalkTalk landline phone number so your account can be traced. Link here - https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile:personal-info
If you are unsure of your phone number, you can find this in My Account or dial 17070 from your landline phone and this will confirm the number for you.
You can also add your account number in the private notes field, which only you and the support staff can view.
Please post back when done.
Thank you
