Phone line fault

How long do I have to wait for an update on a phone line fault? It’s not been updated for two days and because there’s an open report the bot won’t put me through to anyone in chat.

get me some HELP.  no phone line for 4 days. very urgent. we are OAPs nearly 80 years old

You should be able to get through to Chat regardless of whether you are a customer or not, @Haynes, so you shouldn't need to be signed into My Account first.

 

You will need to pass security when they try to run checks though.

 

Otherwise, wait for staff on here to pick this up during the day  - you must complete your community forum profile details for them to identify your account. 

 

Go via your avatar/name; settings; drop down menu; add your Talktalk landline number in Personal Information. SAVE CHANGES.
