Talktalk and porting in phone number

for ref I was colin59, but TT refuse to let me log in on that!

Back in February I started proceedings to swap from TT business to residential, this was for FTTP internet, and to port in to DV my landline which was still on copper line.

I was assured all was proceeding OK, on my contract start date of 2/03/25 the FTTP went smoothly, but the phone number was not ported, I have contacted TT numerous times since and kept being told it would be sorted in a few days, it never has, and I am being billed by TT residential and business for phone services.

I am now told that since April TT will not port in numbers to DV, is there anyway to get this sorted before I start proceedings against TT for failure to provide promised services, and also attempt to move my landline number to another provider.

I mentioned it on here as Colin59, but left the thread as I had managed to get to a TT rep who assured me it was being sorted, I also have a record of hours of discussions on 'chat'.

I understand, have you enquired about this before?

My first use of VoIP dates back some 20 years, I'm well aware how it should work, although TT seem unable to sort it.

Hey there, @colinday. Let us look into this. But just to be clear when you are on Fullfibre your movie into our VoIP calling technology where you don't use the traditional landline number.
