Using existing analogue DECT phone after PSTN switch off

Hi,

I'm the nominated user for my mum's account.

Trying to get phone sorted before the PSTN switch off next year.

Spent over an hour on chat and did not really get anywhere and then ran out of time.

My mum is currently on Fibre 65, just renewed the contract.

She currently has a DECT analogue phone with 3 extensions and we want to keep this as she is elderly she will not cope with modern VOIP phones plus she has heard bad things about them so would not want one anyway.

From my limited knowledge can we use an ATA (Analogue Telephone Adapters).

Also will we have to upgrade to full fibre and this will disable the copper analogue phone line.

Thanks

Get a multiple cordless set.

Thanks ferguson, they are wired extensions, had not thought about that, is there anyway to allow multiple handsets to be used?

If the "extensions" as you describe them are cordless then there will be no problem. Wired extension sockets will no longer be suitable.
