Since my copper land line has been decommissioned last month I have uograded to VOIP. All was working well for a week, now all we have is a single long contiuous tone. No incoming or outgoing calles can be made.
Checked all connections to router and all fine. The router though does flash the occasional orange & white light for a minute or so then go solid white for a out 5 mins. Then back to orange /white flash.
Wifi speed is sitting at about 70mbps/18mbps Upload & downlad speed.
Really need the phone back up & running.
What is happening?
No faults showing up on website, but the site has been pretty difficult to access.

After calling the Talktalk help line They managed to reset the router from their end. Now all working fine. Looks as of the issue was a router setting which could not be accessed at my end.
30 min phone call and all sorted, So not as painful as I thought it would be.
Still think the web page is a real PITA to navigate. But My issue is sorted now.

Tried unplugging the router & powering down for abkut 30 mins, Still no joy.
Router flashes 2 white then one orange. 3 times, then goes back to solid white for 30 seconds The repeats the flash codes.

Have you tried resetting your router or device or both that you plug your phone into as this sometimes resets everything. Try a 30 minute power down if the quick reset does not work
