I am upgrading from G3 to G4 have swapped SIM and memory card to G4 phone.
New phone will receive incoming calls and messages but will not allow outgoing
calls or messages.

Hi Steve, thanks for your response, just to clarify a few points.
My old (very) G3 Samsung had an O2 pay as you go SIM for years.
Several years ago I took out a TalkTalk Fibre35 broadband account and all worked well with
the O2 SIM and my G3 Samsung.
Just purchased a G4 Samsung and transferred the O2 SIM and memory card to the new phone.
Incoming calls and texts OK, outgoing texts do not connect and outgoing calls reply with a message
to top up on pay as you go (O2).
All very strange.

@273rex79B, you are referring to your mobile phone service - you won't be able to use Talktalk's mobile service any more. They stopped the service over the past month, so you won't be able to ring out.
You posted in the broadband area of the forum - I'll move the post to Mobile, but there's no staff support there, and none at weekends from Talktalk staff on the forum.
