Router password - Cannot change

Morning all, I have tried to change my router password this morning, but flashes up "Could not change password". I know the old password, as logged into the router hub.

Is there any restriction to the length/characters etc.? I have only used upper and lower case letters and a number.

Router is Sagemcom.

I do not know the maximum length, but other than that your password should fit the criteria fine.

 

Have you tried doing a factory reset of the router's configuration?
