No sound even after factory reset

Have no sound on the TV - tried all the settings and finally a factory reset,but still no sound

Ok thanks, I made an incorrect assumption that is was one of the 4k boxes.

 

Unfortunately the 372t boxes are approaching end of life.

 

One thing you can check is that the mute button is not stuck on the remote.

 

Also under the settings try changing the output to surround sound as this will boost the box volume to 100%.

the box is DN372T  - and checked the cable is in securely - had the box a while so would be original cable that came with the box

Its DN372T box - yes cable is in securely and have had the box sometime so would original cable

Which box do you have?

 

Have you checked the HDMI cable is in securely?

 

Are you using the hdmi cable that came with the box? If not try that.
