Sorry, I'm not missing the point, but this is the design of the box. It only has one tuner so it can only show or record one channel at a time.

The advice I gave will allow you to watch your actual TV when you have a recording scheduled.

Alternatively, if you still have your old box you can continue to use this, or you can buy your own box such as the Manhattan T4R, or a BT / EE Pro box from CeX.

If you take this latter route you can phone the loyalty team and arrange to return the box and ask for the TV charge to ne removed from your account, as you will be using your own box.

Thank You for Your Answer, But Your missing the Point. I will be watching TV then all of a sudden I get a reminder popping up!

This interrupts & IS an Inconvenience to My viewing of the program I am watching.

I pay for Continuous Viewing & Now it has been taken Away due to This Annoying Problem.

My OLD Box had coloured lights that flashed to show My chosen program was being recorded Without any interruption OR Inconvenience of having to Find another channel to watch OR changing to the TV as You say

&

WHO(I Don't) wants to Miss 5-10 seconds of a program/spoken words where Possibly the most Important Part of the program is being shown! OH I MISSED THAT PART! Its OK watch it on catch UP, NOT the point.

When I was sent it & it happened the 1st time I thought as it was Supposed to be a SMART Box it was just learning My viewing as Computers/ phones do giving suggested information, But Now I am REALLY Getting sick of it ^ considering moving/changing supplier,

What makes it Even More Annoying is I am Retired & Have More time on My hands to watch programs I was unable to watch due to working 12hrs a day.

The Technology & Thought gone into Manufacturing this Box IS Technology Gone Backwards.

As I mentioned the OLD Box was far Superior in My case as I had NO Problems what so ever, Give Me 1 Back Anytime

Yes, it's a limitation of the box.

Can you not watch directly on your TV while the box is recording?

If not then you can do so by buying a simple aerial splitter and leads so you have a separate feed to the box and the TV.

These can be purchased from most supermarkets or local electrical stall on markets, the latter probably being able to offer advice.
