Unable to access any of the regular channels and have no sound. but Amazon Prime works

Do you mean whilst using a TalkTalk TV Hub? If so, has this just started i.e. was it working OK before? 

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries.
