Set top box upgrades

We received an email a couple of weeks ago saying set top box would no longer be able to receive upgrades but we could have a new box. We asked for a new box but have heard nothing since.

Nope, they don't do that sort of thing any more. If your box is still recording OK and you value that feature then you can carry on using it.

Cheers, Ferguson. I got the impression from the email that it would be a like for like swap, including recording facility.

Your best bet would be to get in touch with customer services directly. Bear in mind that the latest box is a streaming device only with no recording functions bar live pause and rewind.
