Not all TVs can be linked so the box remote controls the TV too.
The TV requires something called being CEC compliant. Unless your TV has this the box remote is unable to control the TV.
Sometimes you need to switch this feature on in the TV. You also need to do so in the Box settings.
I found this out whilst trialling the box for TalkTalk as one of my TVs was not compliant.
