My contract ends 15 January. Will my youview box still be usable as a free view box if I don't renew my contract, as we use it for Netflix also.
Thanks

That's one of the new boxes so you will be asked to return it.
Any subscription you have will also end when you leave as you will no longer be a TalkTalk customer. You will then need to take out a separate subscription direct.

It's just the 'talk talk tv and Now tv' I'm talking about. I'm ok with the internet package. My contract is up on my Now TV, which came bundled with talk talk tv, on 15 January 2025. It is only £9.99 per Month but I'm just curious if I didn't renew the TV stuff (talk talk tv and now tv), would I still be able to use the youview box to some extent, or would I need to send it back.
Thanks

Which box do you have as advice differs between boxes.
As you can get Netflix, I assume it is a Netgem 4k or TV Hub. If so these will be returnable or else a charge will be made.
If you can confirm the box advice can be given.

If you don't renew your contract but stay, you'll be paying out of contract fees, @slwukuk, and the TV charge remains the same.
Do you mean, if you actually leave....?
If you wish to leave you will need to return Talktalk's equipment (router) and give them 30 days' notice/ until another ISP takes over, depending on how you switch.
My colleague, @fr8ys, will be able to confirm what facilities remain if you leave, regarding YouView.
