Unrecogised pin

I set up a pin number to be able to watch any progrme on my tv box but my pin has stopped being recognised.Ive tried to go back to factory conditions and there is nothing in the settings which allow me to do this.I am 77 and do not see why I need parental controls. I HAVE NO YOUNG CHILDREN.Please can you help me. Valerie Calder

Hi,

You can turn parental controls off within settings on the box.

 

The default is usually 1234, or 0000.

 

If though it's not recognised it is still holding your own pin.

 

Factory reset again and when you get to the page to set a pin, don't set one, and turn the parental control off.
