Does the talktalk tv box need an ariel or does it work via the internet. thanks

You really need an external aerial for reception.

 

Also ITVX and possibly All4 as won't work unless you have an aerial.

Hello there @g3000,

 

So in this case, should you need to view free view channels, you will be in need of an ariel which you can also buy from your local supermarket.
