Bill adjustment

I am out of contract with TT but am continuing for the time being on a rolling basis. As such, my package (broadband/phone/unlimited calls) is calculated at £49.67 per month. However, I benefit from a bill adjustment which is generally £3.44 per month. This month it is only £1.63. Occasionally, over previous months, it is set at this level, but usually it is for the higher amount. I cannot make sense of this. Any explanation?
