Change of bill production date

This isn't really a problem , more just an observation.

My bill has for many years been produced on the 1st of each month, but the last couple of months it has been produced on the last day (30th/31st) of the month.

@Gliwmaeden2 thank you for the support. @AllyM I understand that this can be frustrating however we cannot be certain that it can stay like that till you leave TalkTalk, you can change your payment date if this is affecting your payments.

No I didn't misread it. I read it very carefully, @AllyM.

In my reply I was just emphasising the fact that as long as there's no significant change in the due date and the number of days it covers is actually correct, there's nothing to worry about with a slight change in issue date.

Mine always comes out on the 9th.

It's fluctuatesd between the 8th and the 11th though over the years but always actually covers the same days of the month when I have checked the details.

So not sure why you posted your comment as there is no problem to be addressed!

I think you have mis-read my post @Gliwmaeden2

I am not talking about the payment due date, which, as you say, has always varied by a few days.

I am talking about the date the bill is produced.

For years has been 1st of month until 1st September, then 30th September, 31st October, 30th November.

There always has been a bit of flexibility with the due day, @AllyM, which customers sometimes find very annoying. As long as the right number of days are covered each time, it's not too concerning, though sometimes it may not include some phone calls made till they show on the next bill.

Some customers found their due date shifted by a full week recently. After saying it was due to a Bank Holiday, more recently Talktalk has said there was a mistake on the system.

So it's definitely worth not sleep walking with the billing and good to keep an eye on it, even if the current variation has no consequences for you.
