Can anyone explain this boost?  It is suposed to be for international calls, but seems to be restricted to the UK.

Hi Talk1934

This been flagged up as an error in My Account the boost does not include calls to UK landlines

International Max Calls Boost

This boost includes calls to overseas mobiles. It's just £14.00 a month and you can make up to 1500 minutes of calls abroad for no extra charge. The calls must be from your TalkTalk landline to landlines and mobiles in the 55 inclusive countries listed below. If you want to call places that aren't included in your 1500-minute allowance, don't worry. You get guaranteed discounted rates to all international destinations too.

@Arne-TalkTalkJust to let you know the incorrectly worded offer is still showing.  This is disappointing as I would have expected the wording to have been corrected by now even if it only on my account😞

Its is an individual fault on your account, its nothing that has been mass reported by others.

Hi @Arne-TalkTalk

I always do call the loyalty team when renewing, in fact I have just done so and got a deal which is much better than renewal offer in the "My Offers" section and the renewal email I was sent (both of which were different).   My concern regarding the international boost offer was that it was patently rubish and should not have been posted at all.  In essence it shows lack of care on the part of, presumably, your marketers and does nothing to help the reputation of TalkTalk and the service provided.  It would be good if that part of the business could match that of you and your colleagues who provide support here.

I understand and its been flagged up,  I always advise customers to call loyalty rather than the My Offers section its often a better result.

Hi Arne

Thanks for the explanation,  but it leaves me wondering how one can believe anything that appears under "My Offers" particularly as both the price and description are wrong.  It is worrying that you are trying to entice people with offers which are incorrect.

HI @Birchcroft

I will feed this back. this information and price are wrong.   The boost information is :

This boost includes calls to overseas mobiles. It's just £14.00 a month and you can make up to 1500 minutes of calls abroad for no extra charge. The calls must be from your TalkTalk landline to landlines and mobiles in the 55 inclusive countries listed below. If you want to call places that aren't included in your 1500-minute allowance, don't worry. Sorry for any confusion.

A full list of boosts is available here, @Birchcroft:

What you are seeing may be a fault in My Account (not unheard of...... sometimes it is impossible to remove boosts etc and so there can be faults in the display etc).

I'll move this to the Billing section for them to take a look.
