Unable to contact TalkTalk by CHAT which says 'Return to Previous Screen' and no input box. No tones after selecting Option 11 after dialling O345 172 0088 number.
Is this a fault or is nobody work on 29th Dec.

I retried later but CHAT still not working, so telephoned again. This time instead of no tones after making selection, I was able to speak to an advisor. She was very helpful and the issue of my contract renewal was resolved.

No problem reaching Chat here, @Brum3067.
Try a different browser, no ad blockers, allow pop ups.
Mine works on Chrome on a Samsung Galaxy with no fiddling.

With Chat, you can keep answering "No" to their suggestions for topics till they put you through to a human anyway.
If phone support is cutting off, try one of their other options and see if they'll put you through to the right department from there.
