New customer, Talk Talk took over my previous supplier.

Feeling really upset by what has happened.

I was assured the transition would be seamless, well the service was, the billing however is not.

I paid my monthly bill by direct debit, I was informed it would simply transfer over.

Today however I get an email saying there is a problem and that due to this next months bill will include an additional fee for late payment.

Did they inform me prior to this late payment, no they did not.

I am very unimpressed with this treatment, I am now considering just ditching this company when my contract is up.

@//##=, Talktalk has an ongoing mess with this. It won't take you long to find similar threads.

 

You will not be charged a late payment fee - it's a known issue.

 

The Shell migration team will sort this out - meanwhile, welcome to Talktalk's automatic generic emails, @//##=. It's rather an issue with this company as their lack of fine tuning sows the seeds of confusion.
