i'm currently on a Fibre65 contract. i get a mail saying i'm going to get full fibre, 2x speed for free, and it's gone live, currently showing me around 150mps speeds.

literally 2 days later, i get a mail about new contract offers. the cheapest is "a new, matching Fibre 65 contract for £28.00 per month for another 24 months. With this plan, you can enjoy average download speeds of 67Mb/s."

so, how is it "matching" if i'm going to lose half my free upgrade speed??

Well it looks like everything is as it should be? I imagine the later email was just automated and seemingly overtaken by events. I have re-escalated this for the support team here to check for you.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.

another thing is my account says i'm on 150voip not Fibre65, presumably due to the change to full fibre

Possibly the upgrade department and the renewals department not communicating with each other, @KatKiller?

Staff will be back on here after the weekend  - to actually check your current  / potential deal, phone 03451 720088 or use Chat. You might be able to negotiate a better price.
