Good morning all. I have had paper bills for the last few years and been out of contract since February.
The prices have gone up which I have been forewarned about and I expected.
However this month I have been charged £73.16.
This extra £12 is called Fibre 65 data only/ landline service charge.
Can someone explain what it means as I already pay for landline service at £36.02.
Supersafe Boost £6.00
Unlimited calls boost £16.00.
It’s like I am being charged for the landline twice.
There was no warning of this charge and I cannot find a reference to it elsewhere.
Thank you.

@Lusitania2022, earlier this year, Talktalk sent out messages to people on Copper Leave Behind that they would need to upgrade to the Full Fibre VOIP as the copper line would be charged at £12.00 if you wish to continue with it.
There's no extra charge for VOIP, but you may need to check your contract and get in touch with them on 03451 720088 to update your package.
You'd need to check which router you have as the models vary between Sagemcom Hub2 and above, or Eero, which requires a digital voice adapter in addition for you to make phone calls.
