I got a letter today telling me the email TT send every month, telling me my bill is ready, is being bounced by my mailbox. It isn't, I think everything is just fine. Am I missing something?

Attached is a copy of the letter and a screenshot of my inbox (outlook).

Thanks, it wasn't email, it was a letter in the post. See what I mean G. 😉

Yes, we are going to look into why that letter was sent.

@angelique-TT, can you make sure that they check the authenticity of the letter?

The communication was not by email.

My concern is if TT's systems generate warning letters for no reason and I ignore them, what, if any, are the consequencies?

I have been a TT customer and followed this forum for long enough to see the c0ckups that TT's antiquainted systems can generate.

For instance, is this scenario, or some variation, likely?

Next TT's systems declare my email invalid because after numerous  apparent bounces my current email must be broken or false.

Then, because my email has been designated 'invalid', I can no longer log into My Account.

Then, because my email has been declared 'invalid', TT declares I am in default of contract because I have not supplied a 'valid' email.

So yes, I am concerned that TT is flagging a non-existant problem with an email service used wordwide with many millions, possibly billions, of users.

Nothing different at all. The service and billing are normal. I just accessed My Account and that is fine too.

@jaspertat

Did the letter show your account number and name in full originally?

Was the envelope it came in showing your full name and address or just "the householder"?

Do you normally receive your bills in a Talktalk inbox or a non Talktalk address?
