Poor connection for months - leaving talk talk

For months I have experienced poor connection where the wifi will drop out and come back. No matter how many router resets etc and chats with support, engineer visits etc it’s still happening, 5 days ago I decided to change to a new broadband company ( next weekend) and since then talk talk wifi has been horrendous! WiFi drops more than 10 times a day! I have been waiting online using mobile data as wifi is so bad 30+ mins for an agent to help and still nothing, yet I’m expected to pay my bills in full even though I’m not getting what I pay for!

Hi @ZoeK91 looking into your account I can confirm that your account is now closed. It was disconnected on the 29.11.2025.

@ZoeK91, staff are not on here to respond at weekends. You'd need to follow up during the day Monday-Friday for Talktalk support. Hope all goes well with the switch.

I can confirm I am messaging from home.

However today is supposed to be my last day as a talk talk customer.. currently awaiting an engineer for a new broadband provider.

Hi @ZoeK91 sorry to hear you are moving to another ISP, I hope they use a different infrastructure as your problems may stretch all the way back to that horrible thunderstorm a few years ago.
