I have received a letter from TalkTalk saying they cannot send me bills, as the emails are not getting through. The registered email they have for billing (which I have checked) I use every day and all other senders get through.
The fault must be with TalkTalk.
They last sent me an email notification of a bill in December 2022, nothing I have done has changed since then.
I don't want to incur the £2.75 they threaten me with. So I need it fixed.

That had never been suggested as an option and I never thought it was an option. The inference when I first set everything up with TalkTalk (back in the dark ages) was to set up an email address and that would be your MYACCOUNT login. I will ponder your suggestion. Thanks

In fact it would be far better to have a non TalkTalk address for MyAccount from a security point of view.

You cannot just change the billing address, you have to have or set up another TalkTalk email address and then have that as you MYACCOUNT sign in and password; which means another account to check for mail.

Hi Crusader300, the quickest fix is to change the billing email address. Its not the only fix, but is by far the quickest and simplest one.

Technical Support say the problem is that a Phishing Block has been applied on their billing email in my account so that my email account is rejecting their email as a phishing scam. I never put the block on, so it must have been another source. TalkTalk cannot take the block off, so, as others have said, I have to change my account to a different email address. This is TalkTalk not fixing the root cause, but giving a cop out work around for all its customers affected by this block.

I have the same problem (the last one I received was also last December) Been told to change the email address to another, I agree it`s a TT problem but us customers have to do the work our end. wait for community mods to give you the official workaround.
