@J9dan, forum rules still apply, and it's simply best practice never to post personal information details in any public thread, so I have removed your email address from display.

It will simply attract scammers and Spam if left displayed.

If you take a look at other posts on the email page, you'll see that we are warning people about scam emails particularly in relation to the move to Everymail.

Check very carefully who the sender really is. If it's not genuine, report it as phishing and delete it.

However:

Some people with longstanding email addresses are actually getting a warning from Talktalk genuinely about needing to sign up for Everymail. This is likely to happen if you left in the past and came back and Talktalk's record keeping hasn't been good.

In that case, you do need to contact Talktalk directly on 03451 720088 after 9am, or use Live Chat through the link in your My Account. Ask an agent to complete a webform that needs to be processed to reassociate your email address with your current broadband account.

If you don't have a current broadband account, you will need to follow the guidance given here:

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.
