I have been contacting talk talk to close my account. Let it be know that I will not contact u guys again.. And if you like, keep on billing me u morons... I will not pay a single dime.... Below is the email i have received twice from ur *stupid* noreply@talktalk.co.uk email address...

We would also like to kindly advise you that cancellation of the Direct Debit instruction cannot be considered as a request to disconnect the account. |
Before the service and Direct Debit are cancelled it is a regulatory requirement for TalkTalk to cover key information with you. This ensures that important detail is provided regarding the disconnection of the service, and that you are fully informed of any potential charges that may be billed to your account upon the service ending. |
If this is not completed, bills will continue to be generated and if no payment is then made, these non-payments may be reported on your credit file. |

I'll move this to the billing section for you, @raphaelomogun.
However, you should have got ahead with this before leaving the country.
Ts&Cs make it clear, as do the instructions for cancellation, that notice is needed. The bills will just keep coming / debt collectors if you don't sort this out.

I told them I have left the UK and that it cost a fortune to call from Nigeria. I have gone through the verification process and i already used 20k Naira to call. I will not be calling again because it is not cheap. I have put a request for a cancellation already and if you guys process it, then it's fine if not, then ur luck.
I called for a cancellation and the stupid agent was asking if i had any relative that needed the internet service and wasted my call units. I have called and I have called. If you can send me an email to send my request fine.. Otherwise, we will leave it at that... I am not calling except talk talk wants to call me in Africa..

Cancellations cannot be dealt with on the forum. They can only be fine on the phone.
Staff here can check if the cancellation has been put through, but if not you will need to phone again.
Wait for staff to get back to you or you can phone.
