my bill is usually about £35 and this month was £65. I think im within a contract but is there something I can do to reduce it?

Hi there @Katy53. I can confirm that the reason why your bill is high is because you made local and national calls. I will send you a private message disclosing all the amounts however what I would advise/recommend for you is to get our Unlimited UK calls boost to avoid your bill to be this high. The Unlimited UK calls boost is £16.00. You will need to drop the call before you reach 1 hour and redial again to avoid being charged.

@Gliwmaeden2 thank you very much for the above information.

I'll move this to the billing section for you, @Katy53, as it doesn't belong on the email board.

Normally you would need to check first of all in My Account where it will show the end of contract date [see also previous bills] as well as the details of everything you have been charged for.

Discounts may have expired along with the main broadband contract.

Discuss what's available with the Retentions  / Better Value  / loyalty team as staff on the forum cannot set up a contract for you.

Call 03451 720088 before 7pm or 6pm Saturday [not open on Sunday] or use Chat.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.
