Hi @paulben Thank you for reaching out about your new contract price.
I’ve reviewed your account and fully understand your concerns regarding the fairness of annual adjustments. You have recently entered into a new contract at £31 per month, effective December 2, 2025. As this is a fixed-price agreement, it includes annual adjustments based on inflation, you were advised that the price would increase each April during the duration of the contract. This information is communicated to customers prior to signing the contract to ensure transparency.
Thank you so much @Gliwmaeden2 and @ferguson

The price of a minimum contract goes up each April, @paulben.
Is that what you are referring to?
It's actually likely to be as much as £4 if you renewed after 16th November 2025.
See the details here:

So, for the sake of so-called "certainty" we now have a heck of a hike each year, rather than the CPI +3.7% that Talktalk did previously. Usually the inflation tagged price increase was much less than this bright idea and the new fixed price hike creates a huge inflationary surge for the country each April.
If you check, you'll find that almost all broadband companies (and mobile phone companies) do something similar, but the rise to £4 by Talktalk is very high.
There's no longer the option of paying a bit more at the start of the contract, then not having the April price increase, that was available on Fixed Price Plus.

No problem, they should pick this up tomorrow.
