Broadband keeps disconnecting

Good morning.
I'm really hoping somebody can provide me with an answer to this ongoing problem with my broadband. The last few days I have been returning home mid afternoon to discover there is no broadband service despite working again when I wake up in the morning.
I have checked all connections, the landline is fine and a new filter was fitted a year or so ago. I can't speak to anyone to explain the problem as TalkTalk make this impossible...unless they want you to buy something from the sales team of course. Could it be an old router that can't cope with afternoon/evening traffic or is there a local server issue?
At my wit's end so I'm now on the verge of switching providers.

Good morning,
Can you please update your community profile to include your:
- Name
- Telephone number
- Alternative contact number
We'll then look into this further. Please do not post this information on this thread. Once you've updated your profile please post in your topic to confirm it's updated.
Thanks
Michelle
