Why do you think it's the cable? And what cable?
The cable from the router to the phone line? the ethernet cable?
Have you tested with a different cable?
In any case, the staff on here are usually very good at ordering a new router (with a full set of cables and connections) to be sent out if you need it, but you do need to update the details in your profile as they have requested, so that they know who you are, and post back here to confirm you want a router sent out.
