My TalkTalk router has suddenly stopped connecting to the internet. I have restarted the router and I have factory reset the router. Neither of these things have resolved the issue.
The light on the front of the router is flashing orange and does not stop flashing.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks

Yes, I replied to a previous message to let you know that my neighbour had reported the problem to their ISP and Openreach fixed the issue yesterday as it seemed a tree branch was resting on the line providing phone/internet to myself and our neighbour.
The issue seems to be resolved now 🙂

Hi tsinc80697
Did you receive my last Private Message?

Hi tsinc80697
Thanks for confirming this.
I've completed another line test and the same fault has been detected. I'm just sending you a Private Message to confirm some details so we can arrange an Openreach engineer visit.
Thanks again.

The problem persists and I am still unable to connect to the internet.

I’ve connected the line directly to the test socket using an ADSL filter.

I’ve just had a look online and I’ll connect the line to the test socket myself in a few minutes and let you know 🙂

Hi tsinc80697
Would it be possible to post a photo of your master socket/set up on this thread?

I’m not sure which socket is the test socket? The router is connected to the only phone line socket in the house.
This is the same socket that has always been used.

Hi tsinc80697
I'm really sorry to hear this.
I've completed a line test and this is detecting a potential fault towards the property and Openreach are requesting that we arrange an engineer visit.
Is the router currently connected at the test socket?
