Hi all, creating this on behalf of my Dad who's not great with stuff like this. He's been a TalkTalk customer since he first got his Internet set up at home and he's now struggling with slow Internet speed and weak wifi. He has a D-LINK DSL-3780 router which I think is quite old now.
My parents are interested in getting a streaming TV service but their current speed and wifi won't support this, so I'd like to understand if there's a replacement router which might help to improve his broadband speed and wifi signal?

Hi, I’ve tried a few times with the new broadband router but can’t get devices to connect to the Internet. The router is showing as connected in the web interface and has a white light on the front, but connected devices can’t get to the Internet.
I've tried restarting it and the router connects to the internet but no
devices can get to the internet.
Not sure if I’ve missed a vital
step?

Hi Debbie, sorry for the slow response! My dad confirmed that the router arrived at the weekend so I'll head over this week to help get it set up.
