DDNS setup on Huawei H633 router

I am trying to set up a IQR9600 CCTV system.
In its DDNS setup page, my Huawei H633 router does not recognise NO-IP as a provider, only DynDns.org and TZO.
The only option in the drop-down box is 'other'. When I enter this, a 'server port' entry field appears, in
addition to the 'server address' field. I've entered '80' in this field, but on checking with
www.canyouseeme.org I get the response 'Error: I could not see your service on 92.28.188.95 on port (80)
Reason: Connection timed out'.
I use my old TalkTalk router, a DSL-3780, as a wireless extender, connected to the H633 by ethernet. This
router does recognise NO-IP as a provider, but is not connected directly to the CCTV DVR, only to the H633
router. Is it possible to activate and set up the DDNS on the DSL-3780 router to get the port
forwarding working?

@vic_robinson Does your DVR have a DDNS setup page that includes No-Ip ?

I'm just a customer who might be able to help, not official help & support.

Putting the server port as 80 as you have done is part of the other config, to get the DDNS client in the HG633 to communicate with the DDNS server. It has nothing to do with port forwarding & a port checking site will not help to identify the problem, as that is only relevant with port forwarding. In your scenario, you are best to get the port forwarding working first with the WAN IP address of the HG633. Only once that is working, should you worry about DDNS.

That said, to answer some of your other points, this is virtually impossible to answer without knowing more about your setup. How is the 3780 connected to the HG633, via a LAN to LAN connection?

DDNS - there was never any intention to support No-IP on the HG633 at all, so a custom configuration will not work. You could use DuckDNS, which used to work fine with this router & is free.

Your CCTV, what TCP or UDP ports are you trying to forward? Please include a screenshot of your complete port forwarding rule & application in the HG633, so that I can check it for you.
