I opted for a new connection to be installed on the 24th. But the guy never came. I called an agent and they said an engineer would come on the 27th. I took a day off and waited again, but no one arrived. Upon calling they said the appointment didn't go through. Now they have given me a date for the 10th. Living in a house with bad reception, the internet is very important and this delay is very unprofessional.

I'm sorry to hear that your installation has been delayed, could I just as, are you already a TalkTalk customer or are you migrating from another provider
