How to Kick a device off WiFi MAC

Hi I want to be able to kick my daughters phone off the wifi for an hour or so when required! I’ve read I can do this via MAC filtering and have found the MAC filter on My Dashboard but it doesn’t seem to work. Anyone got any experience of this please?
