Internet down, can't understand why

My internet is down and I can't understand why, and the support route for this sort of thing is shocking. Please someone help asap as I'm not sure if you're aware but we're all relying on steady wifi for everything these days. Can't understand why there's not even an option of virtual chat? It's not hard!
