Internet dropping

  • For a few days I have been contacting talktalk about my dropping wifi. I have told them about my modem internet light is always off even when I have wifi. They keep saying that is not at problem and the dropping signal will be fixed in a couple of hours. Once again is not fixed and signal went down again after 4 hours. Do you think might be a problem with the modem?

This is the latest update on this fault.

 

Update 8:40PM  December 17th 2024 - Our team are in the process of applying a solution to all impacted Wi-Fi Hubs and aim to resolve this by tomorrow morning.

Yes thats right. The internet keeps dropping and there is no change in the lights in the modem or in the  router. In my modem there is 4 lights, the internet is always off that's why I'm not sure if is anything wrong with it and if that's the reason for the internet keep dropping.

Sorry for the confusion, do you mean the white light stays on the router even when the connection has gone off?

Unfortunately still the same. And due to my shifts at work for the next few days I can't be in contact with talktalk at minute.
