Need to change my router password but there is no info on router.

Have tried reset and logging on using admin admin as some people have suggested is the default setting but still no luck!

Anyone have any further information to help solve this please?

You should never put any private details in a public forum. As advised, please start your own topic and we can take it from there.

As I said, I know where the password is but it has been scored out. My device isDG8041W-2.T5

I don't really want to put a picture of the credential in a public forum, can I send them privately?

@123457

Hi,
Please start your own thread as each case is considered unique and it is easier for support to be given to one person per thread and also less confusing.
To start your thread click the Browse button, then Help With Your Service and select the appropriate category. You will then see a Blue Button "Start A Topic"
Please also note that you should only post back on that thread and not start another on the same topic as multiple posts cause delay to you and others seeking help.
Thank you

Hi, I have a similar problem, I know where the password is (was) but it's been scored out so people can't read it. I had changed the router password as well but since I had to reset the router it has reverted back to the original password. Can you give me the password?

All routers have a sticker on the back with the information.

You may have to look for it under a pull up plastic tab on the back.

There will probably be 2 passwords, your router (Admin) password and your wifi password, so pick the correct one you need.

If you still cant find it, what router do you have (you might not find if you can't find the sticker) or can you take a photo and post, so we can try and help you further.

Thanks.
